Nelda,
I am assuming that the G1, G2 and G3 are the same as on the chart on
your page. My first observation is you seem to be overlooking some
of the markers further down the page. It appears to me that G1 and
G2 are likely from the same family and since one came from Ireland
(no date indicated) the common ancestor was in Ireland..
G3 is a whole different story. He is unlikely to be from the same
family at all. He looks to be as many as 19 off if you count the
multi-step differences. You aren't going to find a common ancestor
there let alone be able to estimate when he lived.
You need to find the genealogical connections here through the old
paper trails. Trying to figure out from 3 differences how far back
they are related is a waste of time in my humble opinion no matter
how many on this list still want to find a way for that to
work. Again I can show you cousins 500 years from their common
ancestor who have no differences and two brothers who have three. I
just have no confidence in these MRCA calculations. You are working
with mother nature at her random best with mutations.
