Money was the father of George 3rd, who was the father of of my
gggrandfather Wiliam Yates who removed from NC to Lee Co,(now Wise)
VA..do you have any other information on this line?
William removed frm NC ca 1801 to Lee Co Va,his children were:Levi(b.
NC) Solomon. Joshua,Rebecca,Abel,Nancy, Geo. Washington,Elihu/Eljuh,Ira
Goff,Haskell, and Andrew JAckson al of whom were born in Lee Co Va and
removed to Andrews and Gentry Co Mo in the 1830.....they married into
the Pennington, Shepard, Blevins, Bogg lines and went to KAnsas,
Indiana(?) and the sourounding area and some evt to Montana Territory.
anything here sound familiar? Any information would be appreciated. Andy

Samuel sold off his land in Maryland by 1758 and moved to to Loudoun Co,
VA, where he died testate as Samuel Yeates. The will was written on 1 Apr
1778 and probated 8 Jun, following.His wife was Johanna (Jeanne) and
legacies were left tochildren: Rachel Money, Joshua Yates, George Yates,
Mary Money,Frances Simmons, and Benjamin Yates, also to his
grandson,Nicholas Money. NGS Quarterly, Vol. 27, p. 30.
