Hello Everyone – The following came to me a few years ago from a
wonderful woman who offered to do a look-up. I don’t have her name
anymore but I’d like to thank her again for the fun these records have
brought me.

SADSBURY MONTHLY MEETING (QUAKERS)

Children of Benjamin & Jane Webb
James b. 26 of 12th month 1754; Joseph b. 3rd of 11th month 1756, d.
18th of 2nd month 1761; Alice b. 2nd of 10th month, 1758; Rachel b. 4th
of 2nd month 1760; Alice b. 17th of 2nd month 1762; Elizabeth b. 1st of
4th month 1764. *(My note here – 2 Alice’s?)

Children of George & Ann (d. 24th of 4th month 1764 aged 28 yr.) Webb.
William b. 5th of 1st month 1756; George b. 23rd of 6th month 1758;
Elizabeth b. 13th of 10th month 1760; Mary b. 5th of 9th month 1763.

James Webb, town of Lancaster, and Hanna Evans, daughter of William &
Hannah Evans, of Lampeter, with consent of parents 15th month 10th of
1742. *(Transcribers note here – I don’t know what 15th month is unless
it’s reversed).

Benjamin Webb of Lampeter twp *(Transcribers note – minutes indicate
son of Benjamin Webb, dec’d) and Jane Smith daughter of James Smith and
Alice Smith of the same place, with consent of parents, 29th of 5th
month 1754.

George Webb, of borough of Lancaster, son of George Webb and Ann his
wife, deceased, and Hannah Farr of the same place, daughter of Joseph
Farr and Ann his wife, with consent of parents 25th of 1st month 1793.

Certificate from monthly meeting of Newark, held at the center, 5th of
7th month for Benjamin Webb.

2/3/1752 Benjamin Webb produced a certificate from Newark Monthly
Meeting.

4/11/1754 George Webb produced certificate from Newark Monthly Meeting.

3/7/1758 Certificate from Bradly Monthly Meeting for Rebecca Webb.

4/6/1759 Joseph Webb requests certificate to Philadelphia Monthly
Meeting.

3/9/1759 Certificate produced from Newark Monthly Meeting for Nathan
Webb.

3/12/1759 Jesse Webb requests certificate to Hopewell Monthly Meeting,
Virginia.

2/5/1760 Certificate for Jesse Webb to Hopewell Monthly Meeting
signed. Testimony against Elisabeth Webb for her outgoing in Marriage.

2/6/1757 Joseph Webb produces certificate from Newgarden Monthly
Meeting.

5/12/1757 Request for certificate for James Webb Jr. to Bradford Monthly
Meeting, in order for marriage to Rebecca Parks.

20/8/1760 Certificate from Warrington Monthly Meeting for Isaac Webb.

4/6/1759 Joseph Webb requests certificate to Philadelphia Monthly
Meeting.

3/9/1759 Certificate produced from Newark Monthly Meeting for Nathan
Webb.

3/12/1759 Jesse Webb requests certificate to Hopewell Monthly Meeting,
Virginia.

23/3/1763 James Webb requests certificate to Bradford Monthly Meeting to
marry Jane Pack.

I have transcibed the above just as it was given to me. Please, don’t
hold me responsible for any errors. Hope this of a help to someone, I
enjoyed reading it if anyone out there can send an explanation of the
dates and some of the terminology I would appreciate it.
