Can anyone kindly tell me any further details about the following men who
were involved with the old Christmas custom of mumming in Salford Priors?

Albert TEAL
John BASKET (born 1859)
Ernest BENNETT (1861 - still living 1933)
Thomas BARNETT (1871 - still living 1933)
Ross HUNT (1873 - still living 1933)

I don't find Teal in any census to 1881, or Bennett in 1881, and I haven't
yet had chance to look at 1891. I have the other relevant entries, and would
willingly share if anyone wants them.

Does any reader have memories or family stories about this custom?

I would be pleased to learn any details.
