In going through the mailing list archives I noted an item from December on a living allowance for Canadian warbrides. However in using the link to the Halifax Chronicle article the page in question.

If anyone has a copy of the article or particulars on the living allowance it would be appreciated.

My mother - Margaret [ELLIOTT] BUTTON, ex WAAF and a warbride - has been widowed since 1982. She's lived in the same house for 52 years. Any stipend or allowance, however modest, that would assist in her staying in her home would be most welcome.
