60 years, 11 kids later, wartime dress still fits
War bride train to arrive on Wednesday

Alma MacDonald will wear a dress she bought before she was married when she
and 17 other couples renew their wedding vows at a celebration this week in
Halifax to mark the Year of the War Bride.

The long green and white gown, with its crumbling crinoline trim, is one of
several dresses the West Mabou woman has carefully stored away for more than
half a century.
