I am just horrified at how the Canadian government can just tell some warbrides and children of Canadian men who served in the military in World War II.
Instead of individuals fighting the Canadian government on their own, and using up all their life's savings to do it, I would like to suggest that Warbride associations, Veterans groups, Legions,etc (from countries all over the world - not just from Canada) start petitions and even better, class action suits if possible, going to the Canadian Federal govt to stop these appallingly reprehensible actions.
Last year was the Year of the Veteran in Canada.
This year is the Year of the Warbride.
What better timing for all to unite and fight the govt on these appalling rulings.
There is strength in numbers...........I hope someone gets the ball rolling on this. I would if I were younger and in better health.
