My Uncle Lester Kennedy, from Augusta, Ga. USA, was a WWII soldier in the 515th Air Service Group. He married a lady from Naples Italy. They married in Naples in 1944or 1945. We never knew her name, she never made it to the US. We were told she went down on a ship, headed for the US. If anyone could give me any information on this, please contact me.
