Thank you for passing the information Patricia. I too would love a scan.

I would be be interested in hearing about other war brides who left from the
Essex area also, as well as our Peggy ( Margaret Chapman)

Much appreciated. Kathleen.( nee Quigley.Hempstead. Millett.)

Here in the UK, the Family History Monthly magazine is going to run an
article on War Brides in their next issue no 136 (Nov 2006), on sale in the
UK on 28 September, the magazine is also available overseas.

In the copy that I have, they are advertising their next issue and show
photos of Joan Stubbs and Terri Scott. They have asked their readers to
submit war bride stories and they have also taken several photos from my
website (with all the owner's permissions). I am not sure whether they will
use the wording that was also supplied, we shall have to wait and see.

Thanks to everyone who contributed, if anyone would like a scanned copy of
the page from this month's magazine please contact me.

Tricia
