A reunion 60 years in the making

Local News - Roger Dey was in his mother's womb when his father went off to
serve in the Royal Air Force.
In the years that followed, a neighbouring family kept an eye on Dey, his
brother and mother in southeast London, England - a promise made to his
father.
Dey was reunited with a member of that family this week in Verner. Joyce
O'Brien (nee Ing), a war bride who married a Canadian soldier Joe O'Donnell
and moved to North Bay 60 years ago, takes out her wedding picture. A small
blonde-haired boy stands in front of her.
