She will never wear any of these again, and of her possessions to remember her by, this isn't going to be it. Some look like they have never been used, while a few are rags. Would any of you wonderful ladies be interested in any of them [the non-rag ones of course]? Otherwise, they will be donated to our local Salvation Army. I remember a while back emails about "grandmother's apron."

She has progressed to middle stage Alzheimer's Disease. My only wish is for you to continue sharing your incredible stories with others, and share the good with the not-so good. Today's children need to know that life isn't all fun, that life is work.

I kept a couple of the aprons for upcoming garage sales to put my money in the pockets or other activities where 2 pockets are a Godsend such as gardening, sorting items and keeping a duster, letters and other important items.

Along with my cleaning out I have removed wallpaper on the advice of my
grandaughters and upgraded the walls to mocha, browns and tans which
depress me. I also got rid of all my flowery wall decorations in favour
of blank walls.
I absolutely loathe the barren industrial/techno look of today, but pare
down, I must.
I am keeping our 60 year old bedroom suite which is finished in a
beautiful walnut veneer. I will have to die before someone gets that
away from me!
Everything I own has a story...
Love, Hazel
