I know we cannot find manifests of War Bride ships and their passenger
lists, but am wondering whether a date of sailing might lead to a ship.
At the War Bride's Reunion this past weekend in Sakatoon it was
announced that a daughter of a WB was trying to find out which ship her
mother came on to Canada.
Her mother's name was Patricia Norgate (nee Sykes). She married Lee B.
Norgate.
She was born in Goldsthorpe (Goldthorpe?), Yorkshire and lived in London.
She left Britain in March of 1944.
Is it possible to find sailings of ships on that date?
Hoping to get some leads.
I will report on the Saskatchewan Reunion later. I am still unpacking
bags and getting settled in at home.
