Just wanted to pass this on to French speaking War Brides.

Hilary Kaiser the author of Des amours De GI's will be coming to the US. She lives in Paris. Here's her message to me. I wish I could go. If anyone in the group will be able to go please let me know.

Hi Michele,

I know you're in Omaha, but just to let you and other interested parties know that I'm leaving Paris this Thursday to do a series of conferences on my research on French war brides of WWI and WWII for the Alliance Française. See attached announcement of my talk in San Francisco.

Here are the dates of the conferences (all sponsored by local Alliances, except for Washington, where my conference is sponsored by the Veterans Oral History Project of the Library of Congress).
