Hello Debbie,
Did I mislead you. I am a Canadian and I married a New Zealand who came to Canada with the Commonwealth Training Scheme. There were 27 other War brides from Canada on the Empire Haig in November 1945. Mostly they came from Western Canada whereas I was from Ontario.
We all landed in Auckland, New Zealand and were scattered over New Zealand. I went all the way to Central Otago, down the South Island, to a sheep farm.
