Dear War Brides: We are trying to get this article into as many newspapers
as possible across Canada. If you know a journalist who works for your local
newspaper or if you have any connections whatsoever in the media, please
bring this to their attention so we can get as much exposure as possible now
for this issue! You have our permission to take the idea of this article and
have the journalist interview YOU for a story about your support for the
Year of the War Bride 2006. The sky is the limit. We only ask that you let
us know which papers you have contacted and if the article does appear in
the newspaper to tell us so we can put it up on the website. Thanks again,
together we will achieve our goal of making 2006 Year of the War Bride
across Canada.

We are trying to draw attention to our campaign to have 2006 declared Year
of the War Bride in every province in Canada as well as federally by the
Federal government. This article explains the rationale behind our campaign
and brings readers up to date on what is happening in each province where
there is a sizable War Bride presence. We have also included links to high
quality downloadable images that can be used for illustration. If you have
any questions or would like to obtain more information about this initiative
for an in-depth article on the subject, please feel free to contact us at
the email addresses or telephone numbers listed below.

Yours sincerely,

Melynda Jarratt and Eswyn Lyster
