My mother, and her sister were both war brides, from Cambridge England.
They married two US Air Force buddies :)

My mother was Gwendolyne V. Nelson of Cambridge -married my father Sgt.
Henry Betz. (and London), my Aunt Vera Nelson of Cambridge married Sgt.
John G. Avera.

Aunt Vera came to the USA on the Zebulon Vance, but not sure what year,
perhaps '46. My mother came to the states via plane in 1948.

They all have passed away, but who knows, perhaps someone remembers them :)
