Hi Gwen, in fiscal year 1944 (April 1, 1944 - March 31, 1945) 6442 war
brides and children came to Canada so you were part of that very brave
group! I don't think I would have said "yes" to taking the chance of
navigating German U-Boat infested waters in 1944 and 1945!!!!
