<chuckles softly as she reads Hazel's post> Oh, I don't know Hazel, that
sounds an awful lot like what we do here in the US too. :) We'll have a
special memorial service at Soldier's Field here. They've done a beautiful
job with our memorial. It's a touching and yet, uplifting place...very
peaceful. When we lived on the East Coast while my husband was in the Navy,
the fife and drum corps we helped...Nutmeg Junior Ancient Fife and Drum
Corps...often had 2 or 3 parades that day. I miss the music now that we're
back in the mid-west. Fife and Drum Corps just aren't as popular here. But,
much to my husband's thrill, Bagpipes are! :)

And, as for jiving...man, could my parents jive!! I so loved watching them
dance! If my Dad were still alive, I swear, even at 76, they'd be out there
jiving with you! :)
