Page 2 of Jenel Virden book mentions that the total no. of all warbrides in
WWII was approximately 115.000 this includes men .women and children.
The American Red Cross estimates between 40.000 and 60.000 British Warbrides
Between the Immigration and Red Cross & Warbrides Act it estimates around
70.000
