It has occured to me that the War Brides who find the thought of writing
a book are too daunting for them to even start,(as Paula has pointed
out) and they are right!
It is a huge undertaking and not all of us are accomplished writers.
However, each one of us has a story and I would like to suggest that you
save your e-mails that you send to the list or send them to a website.
They contain valuable stories/information that will only be saved if you
print them or put on a CD for others to read in the future. Oh, yes, and
keep on sending your experiences to this list! That way you will have
quite a few items for your mini-book. All you have to do is make a copy
and slip it in a folder!
Another item is that I will be attending the reunion in Seattle in
August. My health is still not too good. I tire easily, but with 4 weeks
to go I should be a bit stronger. My daughter will accompany me.
