I know someone else who came over on the Ile de France on that sailing in
October 1944. It's my understanding there isn't a passenger list readily
available from sailings that took place during the war years as these
sailings were considered secret. However, that doesn't mean there isn't a
list somewhere. You would have to pay someone to do the research because it
would take some time to find the needle in the haystack. That's basically
the same story for any ship that came over during the war emergency.
