Hello Hazel. thank you for your letter, My name is Diane Cobon.(ne: Tyson)My
Mother was a war bride, she arrived here on the 22nd of Oct, 1944, on the
Ille De France. I beleive she left from Liverpool. Her maiden name was
Barnett, she was from Bromley Kent. she arrived with our 2 older sisters,
one 15months, one 3 years of age, she ended up having 7 children, we are all
fine. and miss Mum terribly. dad passed away 3 years before Mum. Thank God
for large families we all have each other. Happy 80th to Gerry & May
