My mother had a British passport with me listed in it and I still have
it today.

I travelled to Canada in 1945, anEnglish war bride on the Franconia,
aand
had a landed imigrant card NOT a passport either my own or my
husband,s.
and did not have a passport untill 1964 , when I went back to England
for
the first time.
