Hello Tricia,
Came to Canada as a War-bride in October, 1946 aboard The
Empire Brent, which had been renamed a short time before, it was originally
The Leticia, and had been a Canadian Hospital ship bringing the injured
Canadian forces back home. We sailed from Liverpool and came into Pier 21 at
Halifax, where we were transferred to waiting trains for our trips to
various parts of Canada. Was born and raised at Aldershot, Hants. and came to
the Windsor area of Ontario, where I lived for many years. Have been a widow
for several years and am now living in Arizona.
