How did rationing affect the war brides wedding. Were they allowed extra
rations for their celebrations, or did families have to rally around to put
on spread.

Also what outfits did warbrides wear. Did they make their outfit, borrow it,
make do and mend from their wardrobe?

Would be very interested to know.
