Thank you so much for adding my email address to your subscriber list for
WARBRIDES. Research for my MA(Hons) thesis at Macquarie University, Sydney,
Australia, is on the subject of Australian WWII War Brides who married US
servicemen and who are now living in the US.

I hope to visit the US later this year and would like to make contact with
Australian war brides during my visit. If you are an Aussie war bride (or
perhaps you may know of someone who is) and you are interested to take part
in this research, I would love to hear from you. I would also be very
interested to know of any war bride reuunions which may be planned for
sometime in the future.
Sincerely, Robyn Arrowsmith.

war, they sailed away to make new lives in their husbands' homelands. This
list has been created to allow the sharing of reminiscences, the renewing of
old friendships, the beginning of new ones, and to restore long forgotten
memories of those times. The list is open to all - the women, the
servicemen, their children and families, and anyone else with an interest in
this unique piece of history!

guidelines (we don't like to call them rules!) which we need to ask you
please to read and to follow, which is in everyone's interest!

warbrides, it is off topic and must not be posted under any circumstances!
We do have to keep to this very strictly, please folk. The people on this
list are interested in warbrides, and if you post something else, then you
are asking people to pay download time for something they do not wish to
read! Anyone posting off topic messages can be unsubscribed without warning!

expressed by another subscriber, any message you wish to pass on to that
person must be done OFF list!

list! This often comes through as an attachment.. messages must be in plain
text only so any attachment causes immense problems to both Rootsweb's own
servers, and to the listowner!

ask that you do not advertise your services, either overtly or covertly, on
the list!

doubt or worried about anything at all, please contact the listowner at

yourself, we are delighted to have you on board, and we would love to hear
your stories!
