This indicates that she either was not part of any War Bride contingent to US or
Canada or if she was then she returned to England either permanently or
temporarily. The transportation of women as War Brides was limited. Sorry I
can't remember how long it went on for but certainly only a year or two. Does
anyone know?Also, on second thought she was only 12 years old in 1945 when the
war ended. She was only 22 in 1955!!! This needs further consideration!

See comments above re 12 years old.-------It is more likely that he would have
been American. There were not many coloured people in Canada at that time.
