Hello all!
Aha! the letters are starting to come in. I am new on the group and am
wondering about the purpose/intent of the group. I am taking it that the
name of the group suggests anything concerning that special group of
women who, during WWII met and married servicemen from all over the
world. It was usual for the girl to go to 'his' country to live. It
rarely worked the other way. We do have a man in this town who married a
Canadian Service Woman - he calls himself "The Only Male War Bride!"
Anyway, before I go drivelling on about War Brides lets have a statement
as to the purpose of the group.
If you want to know about War Bride ships I can tell you about the one I
was on!
