Thanks to all for your suggestions. My Nikon does connect to the computer with a USB cable. Have found a friend with a card reader who will download to a CD for me. Cannot see the camera in My Computer as another drive, it just goes straight to the Nikon program to transfer, but will not read those 32 elusive pics.
