Hello, there is a short history on Eunice Seavy Baxter in the books "Woman
of Faith and Fortitude" stating that she married, Zimri Baxter in 1832,
left Maine in 1836, and settled in Maumee Ohio. had three sons that all died
as infants, two more born later one son dies, they moved to Danten, Ill.
where two more children were born, Zimri was baptized in 1842. another son
dies, leaving only 2 girls out of 7 children.
They move to Nauvoo Illinois, one more child is born. Zimri worked as a
carpenter on the Nauvoo Temple. In 1849, they prepare to emigrate to Utah,
she gives birth to twins and her 8 year old daughter dies on the journey,
They arrive in Salt Lake on Oct 1849, and settled in Big Cottonwood, from
there on to Salt Creek (now Nephi) in 1851 where they build a grist mill. She
had her last 2 children there. This is where Zimri took 2 more wives in

Nephi Ward (Old), created in 1854, was formerly known as Nephi Branch. A unit
of the Nephi and Juab Stakes, Nephi Ward (Old) was divided in 1877 into the
Nephi 1st (Old) and Nephi 2nd (Old) Wards, both of which were discontinued in
1947.

parents are listed in the Church Ward's and bishop records, in some cases
that can be used to prove parenthood. Hope this will help some.
