Sorry about another email from me but I wanted you all to know that I am
trying to work out the kinks and ensure that all new subscribers know how to
post.

When replying to a query please send it to the mailing lists.

I hope this will get the point across ;) Everyone will receive the welcome
letters when they subscribe as well as a separate letter that reads as
follows.

READ THIS BEFORE MAKING A LOOKUP REQUEST
First check these links to see if the info you need is online so you can
look for your family first.

Posting Guidelines, (not following these guidelines can result in your query
being ignored or you being unsubscribed)

Send requests to
Send it to (supply the two letter state
abbreviation for the XX )



Limit lookup requests to ONE email request per day.

The subject line should read
YEAR/COUNTY/SURNAME

NO General requests such as "all Smiths in all counties"
Be specific, Name the County, Family you are looking for and also the year.
Try to supply as much info as possible.

Please chip in an help to do lookups when you can. When you reply to a
request please send it to the mailing list.

Please also read the welcome letter you received after subscribing.
