Since this is more suited to our Upper Canada List (for
genealogical and historical discussion pre 1867) I'm
copying to that list too. Ontario List is for genealogy and
history of Ontario post-1867 :-)
The Canadian Military Heritage Project is for all
wars/skirmishes Canadian. It has muster rolls, pay lists,
historical overviews, descriptions of major battles etc,
for each war/skirmish that Canadians were involved in.
you will find lots on the Rebellion of 1837/38 (As far as I
know it was only called the Patriot War in the USA, not in
Canada, maybe someone else can correct me on that if I'm
wrong)
