Am searching for info on John Anderson who came to Quebec in 1821 and the onto Halton County in 1823. M. to Elizabeth Campbell.
In November 1823 he purchased an 100 acre land on the West half of Lot 14, Concession 3 in Esquesing Township in the District of Gore (now in Halton County) for the sum for 4 Pounds. Around 1833, according to Joshua Norrish's Early History of Nassagaweya, published in 1889, John Anderson exchanged his land for Lot 6, Concession 7 in nearby Nassagaweya Township with Finlay McNaughton.
thanks Nicky
