I am trying to find some info on RUFUS C. REYNOLDS BORN APPROX 1820 UPPER CANADA. I know he is some how related to James, Benjamin and their cousin Caleb Jr who were Loyalists and had their land confisicated in Pownal VT. I am leaning toward one of James Reynolds and Sausannah Clarks children as Rufus names one of his sons Clark. In 1880 Census Rufus claims both parents were born in MA. Rufus went back to Upper Canada around 1850 to have my ancestor OSCAR EUGENE REYNOLDS then move to St. Armand Quebec then to Franklin VT All people descending from this couple claim Mohawk heritage, myself I am member of ST. FRANCIS/SOKOKI BAND OF ABENAKI OF MISSISQUOI VT. Rufus' wife was Sarah Maariah Morits and I also have no birth/death certificate on her. Thank you Carollee Reynolds PO Box 149 Huntington VT 05462
