We would like to contact anyone who is acquainted with Donald (Hugh ?) and Nancy CAMERON who settled in Finch Twp. in 1808.

>From "The History of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Counties" we are told that the CAMERONS and McMILLANS came out from Scotland in a group in 1802 and they first wintered in Lochiel Twp. Donald Hugh Cameron settled in Finch Twp. in 1808. Their son Duncan was the first white male child born in Finch Twp.

One of the descendants of Donald Hugh CAMERON, Joseph G. CAMERON, was Counties Roads Engineer for Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry.

Anything you can tell us regarding the family would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you for your help.
