Okay...NOW I'm getting somewhere. Thanks to the help of all of the wonderful people on these lists, I THINK I've found the father of my 3rd g-grandfather, Edgar Hawkins. I've learned with your help that NORMAN HAWKINS, father of EDGAR, drowned in Charlestown Lake. I'd like to get more specific on this family, if I can, before I take a trip to Canada this summer. Is Norman's Edgar MY Edgar? Another brief history (please bear with me!).

Edgar Hawkins and Margaret B(r)ower parented Ph(o)ebe Ann Hawkins, born in Athens on September 13, 1853.

Rumor has it that Edgar and Margaret broke up (oh the scandle!), and Edgar remarried in Canada, and may have fathered at least another child, Sara. Sara was the mother of Kenneth and Claude (no last names for them).

Is anyone on the Hawkins list missing a Norman? And on the lovely Canadian lists...is there any additional info I can get on this family through the internet?
