Hi Sue (),
I too am researching the surname LOWE in Canada, possibly in Ontario and
eventually into Quebec. Apparently my Lowe's emigrated to Canada from
Ireland aboard the "Phemous," but I can't find any supporting documentation.
My great-great-grandmother was Maria Lowe, who married Robert Shannon, Sr.
Her parents were Martin and Ellen (Smith) Lowe. Their children emigrated
south into Wisconsin and then some went east to Michigan. Does this sound
familiar to you? Please let me know either way.
