Karen you will find my key research is centered around the area of the Relatives that have already been proven. Shropshire Families, General James Randolph Robertson who is a known William Hatcher born 1608 died in Henrico County. I also have several other Colonial Ancestors Capt Willam Tucker, Colonel Arthur Allen of Bacons Castles. In 1620 The Richard Bennet families of Pagan Creek Settlement along with John Lawson and Sarah Rowland where also part of this Settlement. All of these families have traveled as a CLAN since they came to the Americas.
I have 7 Forefather Relatives on the Byrd Creek, and connecting Drainage Creek of Tuckahoe Creek Area of Henrico Va. from 1680. WE also find the Jonas Lawson famiies on Byrd Creek, he is a direct descendant of John Lawson and Sarah Rowland. This is also the Johnson DNA that I match to on my Johnson- Johnston Lines. Michael Johnson died 1718 on Tuckahoe Creek in Henrico County. WEll LOL these 7 families are still living today on Hurricane Creek in Humphreys County Tn. and Still intermarrying.
Of Note is the Lawson Families of Pagan Creek Settlement find them selves on two sides of this River which Form Lancaster County in 1718 and Upper Norfolk County, living beside the fore fathers of General James Randolph Ropertson ( Founder of Tennessee) thru on Nicholas Robinson in 1650 era. This is also wheer we find the fore fathers of the Ball and Washington Families who are from the Pagan Creek Settlement.
All of my forefathers lines I try to keep in the color Fushia, I am establishing a time line on them and where they went, as about 30 families have Intermarried for well over 500 years.
On the Mathews Creek Report you will note that the DNA I Match to is those of the Ancestors of Michael Johnson, he was married to ? (Sarah) WATSON, she is the daughter of ALice who was first married to Henry Rowen after his death she re married one John Watson, these DNA LINES are in the Color Green in my reports. WEll Henry Rowens Property is right beside the properties of William Eaton. They go from early Charles River County into Nansemond County Va. IN 1650 ERA.
This William Eaton is the Fore Runner of the William Eaton families married into the Charles Johnson families of Sarah Johnson who was also married to John Thornton, whose lines come off the Lines Of William Thornton the Immigrant. He is related to the William Basset Families and the Christopher Wormely families, right beside the Fore fathers of General James Randolph Roberton ( Nicholas Robinson). They ( Wormeley and Bassett) also own lands beside Marke Johnson of Backwater and the First Edward Johnson of Strawberry Bancke.
You will find the Families of Bassetts in 1704 St. Pauls Parrish records near one Edward Johnson of Powhite Swamp ( deed in 1680 era)
This William Thornton families is connected backward in time to the First Ball families of England and Bennett families prior to coming to the America's. These Ball and Thornton families are the Fore runners of the Lines of General George Washington who is also a descendant of William the Conquer of Engalnd 1050. The Plantagnet lines thru the De Montague Families which are my lines of Descent into the Colonies along with the De Bohun families ( Boone Families) of the Colonies of America The Boone families, Washington, De Montague, and Randolph families of Colonial Virginia are all Related thru the Planatagent Lines.
Now these Bennett families are tied into the early Plantagent lines and are also tied to the Utley- Utie line of the Colonies. Rev. St John Shropshire bought his first lands from a Utley descendant. His Great Great Grandson Joel Shropshire married Mary "Polly" Johnson-Johnston daughter of Hudson Johnson-Johnston. Joel Shroshire was the First Recorder for the area that became Hawkins County Tn, who died in Dickson County Tn, his father Seymes Samier Shropshire was died after him on Rockfish River in what became AMherst County to Nelson County. Rockfish River is also where we finf John Thornton who married Sarah Eaton daughter of William Eaton who is also tife to the Families of George Rives ( Reeves) known as the "Trader" whose properties are next to those of John Robinson in PRince George Co. John Robins is the Father of Genreal James randolph Robertson
Jumping back to Michael Johnson ( color Green ) he lived right beside Michael Holland of Tuckahoe Creek, who was born in Nansemond County Va. to John Holland and ? ( she is a Hguenot family)
Now Going back to the Descendants of John Lawson and Sarah Rowland, we find them Living right beside the Known Johnson DNA that I match, but also we find Jonas and David Lawson's descendant living beside Hudson Johnson of Henry County Virginia in 1778-1780. Hudson Johnson-Johnston and the Rev. Thomas Murrell and several families then move into the area of Washington County Virignia, also claimed by Washington County NC. Which goes into Sullivan County Tn at Statehood and then Splits again to Hawkins County Tn. Hudson Johnson is the one of the First Settlers of Hawkins County Tn. along with Rev. Thomas Murrell we know that Jonas Lawson's family did go into the area of Hawkins COunty Tn.
Now to Comment of Rev. Thomas Murrells families they have ther starts in the Colonies, on Byrd Creek of Henrico County Va. living right beside the Known DNA of Michael Johnson died 1718 on Tuckahoe Creek, by William Mayo lines, William Matlock Lines, Line of Edward Hathcer Jr. The descendant of John Lawson and Sarah Roland, beside Those of William Eaton, the John Hawkins line ( who is a De Buhon or Boone Lines) in era of 1720
