Andrew Jackson Gunn was the son of Lawson Gunn and Mary Hedge, sister of
Isaac and William Carroll Hedge. Their father's name was John, but I have
not been able to confirm a mother's name. Lawson's first wife Elizabeth
(not my line, I'm from second wife) was Elizabeth, daughter of William
Carrol Hedge, therefore, his first cousin.
William Carroll had a daughter Mary b. 1812, and Isaac had a Mary b. 1830.
With John Randolph Gunn's age, It's probably the daughter of Issac. I do
have a marriage date for them of June 10, 1859.
You might check Hedge message boards -- there's a pretty strong Hedge
genealogy community. (Of course, it is Hedge and Hedges, depending on whose
doing the writing.)

Hi Louella.. Did not know that Andrew Jackson Gunn and Elizabeth Hedge were
1st cousins... do you know her parents names and do you know if she was
related to Mary Ann Hedge, wife of John Randolph Gunn ??? Hope to see you
in April....
