I am a descendant of John and Margaret (Mackey) who came to Dickson Co., TN
about 1812 and by 1832 were in Morgan Co., IL.
John was a capt. of a militia group in Dickson Co., and may have had a part
in laying out pioneer roads in the Dickson County area.
