Do you know who Carl's people are? My great aunt was Ora Coleman Burgess,
wife of William. Probably right age to be Carl's parents or aunt/uncle.

My dad was a childhood friend of Carl Burgess. I don't know if Carl is
'gone' or not...maybe his family is on the list... but I found a video tape
of him, talking about he WWII imprisonment...It is done in a semi
professional style. He is just sitting --reminiscing--talking..............I
don't know why he recorded it. Dad had a lot of respect for Carl and
great appreciation for his strength to endure his hardships... I hate to
throw this tape away...but I have no use for it, and I am cleaning out
'stuff'...............if any of you want this tape, please contact me off
list...

The first to ask is the one that gets it.
