6 James Bollin (or Bouldin) Thompson. Born 1 January 1844 in Davidson County. Married first on 8 October 1879 to Nancy Tennessee Richardson (25 June 1850 - 30 August 1876), daughter of Louis M. and Annie (Tidwell) Richardson. Married second on
25 January 1883 to Susan Alice Richardson (25 June 1858 - 5 April 1941), daughter of Bartholomew "Battie" Knox Richardson and Susan Patterson.

James B. Thompson served in the Civil War in Baxter's Light Artillery Company. See Tennessee Civil War Veterans Questionnaires, page 2050.

James B. Thompson died 25 December 1935 in Dickson County. He is buried in the Thompson Cemetery on Sertoma Road, just north of Burns.

2 March 1876. Married 15 April 1906 to Sidney Brown. Died in Bellevue, Davidson County. Buried with her husband in the Thompson Cemetery near Burns. Apparently had two children, both of whom are buried in this same cemetery:
1.1.6.1.1 Edward Harmon Brown. Born 11 April 1907. Died 14 June 1908.
1.1.6.1.2 Sarah Louise Brown. Born 12 December 1908. Died 13 December 1908.
1.1.6.2 Flora Thompson. By second marriage. Born
4 February 1881. Did not marry. Died 19 August 1886. Buried in the Thompson Cemetery near Burns.
1.1.6.3 Nora Thompson. Born 2 December 1883. Married William Lorenzo Harris. No issue. Buried in the Thompson Cemetery near Burns.
1.1.6.4 Francis Maud Thompson. Born 28 August 1885. Married in 1906 to John Claud Brown. Died in Nashville. They had three children:
1.1.6.4.1 Margaret Brown. Born 12 April 1907. Married 11 September 1929 to H. Grady Hauk. No known issue.
1.1.6.4.2 Francis Jewell Brown. Born 4 May 1911. Married 21 June 1931 to C.F. Sarvis. Children include:
1.1.6.4.2.1 Catherine Allis Brown. Born 4 August 1921. Married 24 September, 1940 to Page Sanders. Children include David P. and Claudia Susan.
1.1.6.5 Lovina Thompson. Born 19 January 1887. Married 22 September 1916 to Milton Daniel. Died in Dickson County. One child:
1.1.6.5.1 James Phillips Daniel. Born
31 June 1926.
1.1.6.6 Nathaniel Thompson. Born 14 February 1889. Did not marry. Died 21 February 1904. Buried in the Thompson Cemetery near Burns.
1.1.6.7 Hattie Thompson. Born 19 March 1892 in Dickson County. Married in Cheatham County to T.B. "Fox" Howell. Children include:
1.1.6.7.1 Alice Elizabeth Howell. Married December 1944 to Dr. Daniel W. Blake. Their children include Daniel P., Rodney H., Andrew B., and Mary Betty Blake.
1.1.6.8 Battie Thompson. Born 19 March 1892. Married in 1927 to Hilda Hamilton. Died 27 June 1955 in Nashville. Buried in the Thompson Cemetery near Burns. Issue:
1.1.6.8.1 Silas Gwyn Thompson. Married Ann ----. Lived in Wyoming. Issue: Carrie Lynn Thompson.
1.1.6.8.2 Marlin Hugh Thompson.
1.1.6.9 Emma Thompson. Born 8 August 1894. Married 18 February 1920 to Percy E. Moon. He died 3 December 1953. Both are buried in the Thompson Cemetery near Burns. Children include:
1.1.6.9.1 Mildred Thompson Moon. Born
22 January 1921. Married 20 June 1941 to Deurelle Craighe. Children include Charles D.; Donald W.; Jerry and Philip.
1.1.6.9.2 Charles Ellis Moon. Born
22 February 1923. Married 18 April 1947 to Ruth Mabry. Children include Charles E. Jr. and Deborah Susan.
1.1.6.10 McKenley Thompson. Born 14 January 1897. Did not marry. Died 22 February 1904. Buried in the Thompson Cemetery near Burns.
1.1.7 Huston L. Thompson. Born 4 March 1845 in Davidson County. Shown on 1880 Census of Cheatham County as living with his parents. Married on 1 May 1883 to Elizabeth J. ----. Died 23 January 1928. Was a railroad worker - pump tender. Buried in the family cemetery west of Kingston Springs. Owned land between mouth of Sullivan's Branch and the mouth of the Turnbull, north of the railway. Old family cemetery located on this land.
1.1.8 Samuel K. Thompson. Born circa 1849 in Davidson County. Married circa 1874 to Lucinda Richardson, daughter of Louis M. and Annie (Tidwell) Richardson. Issue:
1.1.8.1 Lou Thompson. Born 1875.
1.1.8.2 Wayne Thompson. Born 1877.
1.1.8.3 Johnie Thompson. Born 1880.
1.1.8.4 Aubry Thompson.
1.1.8.5 Lillie Thompson.

1.1.9 Nancy F. "Nannie" Thompson. Born circa 1852. Married on 18 March 1864 to "Yankee Soldier" Wade M. Johns and went to Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
1.1.10 John Thompson (?). Not shown on 1860 Census.
