I have recently seen post regarding Cherokee ancestry. If any of you are interested you may look at a couple of websites of a cousin of mine. Sherry Finchum and her husband Mark are the owners of Indian Creek Productions. This is a non profit company that shares educational information about the Cherokee history. Mark is getting his Doctorate degree at the University of Tennessee in history and Sherry is the curriculum supervisor for the Jefferson County Tennessee school system. I also want to report that we had a committee meeting this past Tuesday evening about the upcoming Dickson County Heritage Book. There will be more about the book within the next few days and we look forward to all of your submissions.
