My gggg grandfather,Jeremiah Ratliff,supposedly moved to Ala. from Tenn.in
about 1817. He is listed in trhe Ala. census of 1820. While in Tenn. he
supposedly lived in Dixon,Hickman and Rutherford Counties. I have been told
that tax records from those counties prove that he was there. He is not listed
in the census of 1795,1800 or 1810 in Tenn. I would appreciate it if someone
could check tax or other records for his presence.
