There is exciting news coming out of Dickson County.

The new Dickson County Heritage Book project is up and running. There was an initial meeting held at the Dickson County Library on 06 September. A follow up meeting is scheduled for 04 October. The county heritage books are very informative about pioneer families, local histories of families, communities and churches. If you presently reside in Dickson County, formerly resided in Dickson County, or have ancestral roots in Dickson County you are invited and encouraged to participate. If you live within a reasonable distance of Dickson you are invited to attend the committee meeting on 04 October. There will be further news about submitting your articles or you may contact me.
