I don't know if I should post this to the list or the
forum. Maybe this is what you are looking for and will
help.

My ancestry is truly 'divided' My Crows are from
Dickson Tn, via North Carolina. My Mother's father was
the Crow. But....My Mother's GG Grandfather, on her
Mother's side, was from Kentucky and fought on the
Union side. Coincidentally as an Army Scout, he
scouted for the Battle of Nashville, and received a
Civil War pension for injuries he suffered while
scouting it. I don't know if he was at Yellow
Creek..but he may have been. Below is the movement of
his unit, the Kentucky 4th Calvary. You can see he
spent a lot of time in TN.

I felt so strange when I went on a tour of the Belle
Meade Mansion in Nashville. Hearing the guides tell of
it and knowing my GGG Grandfather was one of the
'Devils' they were hiding the silver from! LOL!
