Lisa if you will forward the Ladies e-mail addy's Eric will have more on the Tennessee Shropshire's, as our Cousin Eric in the e-mail listings is a direct descendant of St. John Shropshire and he has a lengthy report he can send out for more clues from Joel Shropshire whose Father Seymes (sic) Shropshire lived on Rockfish Creek of Amherst Co. Va. who lived beside Terisha Turner " The Ancient" and John Sorrell.

John Sorrell as we know owned property beside lands owned by Michael Johnson and John Johnson of Tuckahoe Creek, and by William Matlock who me and Peg also Descend from and our Great Grand William Matlock Sued John Sorrel.

Per reports of Harold Johnson ( Michael Johnson Researcher) John Johnson had three known Sons William, John and Charles.

Also is the 1704 Quick Rent Rolls of St. James and St. Pauls Parish with the 4 Johnson's in it. John, Michael, Edward and ?: WE can find reference to some Edward and Michael's children in the Registers of St. James Parish in Reports filed in Henrico County Johnson Files, along with an Alexander Johnson

Know how this becomes Important in our research is Len Henly Johnson a known off spring of Terisha Johnston and Susanna Turner a Descendant of Terisha Turner the Ancient and of Lenoard Henley.
Len Henly Johnson son of Terisha and Sussana Turner died in Humphreys Co. Tn: Terisha Turner the Ancient signed the Will of John Sorrel of Amherst Co. Va.

Also of Note is Col. William Eaton off Tuckahoe Creek is also tied to the Families Of Terisha Johnston and his descendants and is also tied to several Deeds in Henrico and Goochland Co. with our families.

Also of Note is the County Formations of Amherst Co. and its PARENT and Grand Parent Counties.

Note Terisha Turner, Seymes Shropshire and John Sorrel owned land on Rockfish River beside Several Johnson's ( See Amherst County Johnson Reports) Notes: Some of this area becomes Nelson CO. where Seymes (sic) Shropshire died at in 1828

Also if I remember right From Cousin Peg there was a Charles Johnson in Early 1812- 1820 records of Humphreys Co. who went to Ill. or Indiana

Eric is descended From Joel Shropshire b. abt 1765 and Mary "Polly" Johnson daughter of Hudson Johnson- Johnston who died on Bartons Creek, Dickson Co. Tn. in 1828. I and several others descend from Hudson Johnston and Agness thru Mary Polly Johnson Shropshire- May, brother John Johnson and Wife Ann born 1770 Va. After Joel Shropshire death in Dickson Co. Tn she remarried Sterling May ( See Eric's report)

Ann Johnson we know was born in 1770 Va died 1853 Humphreys Co. Tn. living beside her is a ? Dodson with a James Burgess age 25 and another FM Burgess age 73 ?? in this Dodson home who Ann Johnson is an Aunt to ( See 1850 Humphreys Co. Census For Correct Names and ages and places of Birth)

Now we Have John Shropshire of Davidson Co. Tn his brother is Joel Shropshire, John Shropshire's son married a Delialah Burgess.

We know that Our DNA is only one number off on a 25 marked test for Descendants of Michael Johnson died 1718 on Tuckahoe Creek so this means we all Share a Common "Johnson" ancestor.

So the importance of the Hudson Johnson b 1834 Nelson Co. and Died in 188? in Albemarle County with a Known Father of Jacob Johnson and mother is Eliza. Does show up in 1830 Census's or any 1840 Census's of Virginia especially in Nelson Co. Amherst or in Albemarle Co. Can we back track this Jacob Johnson and ELiza? AS we know the Naming Patterns of chilren.

Tony
