I am searching for the parentage of David McCallister, formerly of Dickson Co,
TN.

Captain Cuthbert Hudson's Company, Dickson Co, TN Militia The following are
the men who served under his company from 28 Sept. 1814 until 28 March 1815:
David McAllister, corporal

Dickson Co, TN Minute Book, Wednesday Morning October 8th 1817. Jurors to
County Court January Term 1818: David Bibb, John Gaston, David McCallister,
John Nesbitt, James Douglass, Thomas Drummond. Oleazor Smith, James Connway,
William Johnson, Benjamin Epperson, James Tatom, William Thedford, Isaac
Hedges, Alexander Rose, Charles Winsted, Jesse Lumsden, Thomas Hunter, James
Larkins, Isaac Walker, John Walker, John Spencer, John W. Lee, Matthias Kean,
Samuel Self, Martin H. Burton, Marble Stone.

He moved from TN to MS, living in Lawrence & Holmes Co, MS before moving to
Van Buren Co, AR in 1835 where he spent the rest of his life. He married (1)
Molly Nall, probably about 1817 in Dickson Co, TN (2) Dicy Nall (Molly's
sister) 1822 in Lawrence Co, MS.

Both wives are purported to be daughers of William Nall. There was a William
Nall in Dickson Co, TN during the same time period as David McCallister.

Further information on either the McCallister or Nall amily would be
appreciated.
