Hi hope Cousin Ann's last e-mail came thru ( She is a Hatcher descendant) and we have been discussing our Johnson data bases, and comparing known and possible relatives Collier, Wheeler etc connections in Mecklenburg Co. Va.
I know have known Dodson, ( Sterling Mayes) connections that connect into these HATCHER families coming into Dickson and Humphrey's Co
Getting more inter connected.
Tony

Hi Tony,
Your message caught my eye because I too am related to
the Hudsons in Dickson via VA. My line is thru Rebecca
Hudson b.1808 (m. James Yates 1827) I have two problem
areas with the Hudsons, maybe you might have the
answer? First which wife of William's is Rebecca's
mother- Taphenous Moore, or Elizabeth Baker? Second is
Rebecca's Grandfather is Christopher Hudson. Every
family tree I see has Cary Byrd as her Grandmother,
yet I have never seen any proof of this. I know his
wife was named Cary, because he mentions her in his
will. Just cannot find any proof that her maiden name
is Byrd and her father William Byrd the surveyor. Do
you have any info on Rebecca or Cary?
Thank You,
Deb
