I did find him in the 1900 Census in Dickson County as a Boarder. He was born in Tennessee I believe. He and my Great Grandmother were married in Clarksville, TN in 1893. My Grandfather was John William Johnson, he was born in Trenton, KY in 1896. My Grandfather never told us why but he was raised by his Uncle John Carroll in Christain County, KY. His mother died about 1906 and is buried in Christain County, KY. Monroe's mother was Martha Helen Scott Johnson, his father was Isaac Johnson. They were married in DeKalb County, TN in 1867. His mother, brothers, and sisters lived in the Christain County area when they died. Thanks for answering my message.
